Responsible for creating detailed and accurate millwork and graphic cost estimates, preparing and submitting quotations for client projects regarding manufacture, delivery and installation for national retailers. Responsible for creation of bill of materials and labor routings for estimate purposes. Responsible for obtaining vendor quotes for outsourced metal, acrylic, and graphic components and cabinetry construction materials. Interfaces with the customer, vendors, sub-contractors, sales staff, internal project and account managers and other departments to assure that all quotations are estimated accurately and cost effectively. Other duties, including product engineering and project management, may be assigned as appropriate.

Requirements include: 

• Bachelors degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent level of training and experience.
• Strong understanding of wood, metal, plastic fabrication manufacturing processes.
• At least 5 years experience in a related role.
• A working knowledge of product drawings, bill of materials, manufacturing processes and strong analytical skills.
• Solid foundation of estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications.
• AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to pre-qualify potential new suppliers and verify qualifications relative to project specific requirements for new/existing suppliers.
• Willing to/capable of meeting critical customer deadlines with thorough and accurate performance in a cost effective manner and time frame.
• Ability to source a large range of of variety of materials and services and obtain multiple competitive quotes in a timely fashion; recognize and negotiate appropriate level of pricing from vendors.
• Possess and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
