This job is on hold through the first quarter of 2010. 

Due to growth, our client company in the waste removal/recycling industry needs to fill a new position. This Project Engineer will be responsible for managing project activities from receipt of the order until the installation of the product. This position reports to the Engineering Manager. Specific responsibilities/activities include:

• Customer's system and facility layout.
• Work with sales staff to design and develop complete size-reduction and recycling systems and coordinate the manufacture and implementation with production staff.
• New system pricing.
• Interacting with sales personnel, customer's Project Engineer, customer's Contractor(s), installation, etc.
• Coordinating the activities of the Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing staffs.
• Assisting with managing existing suppliers and developing new ones.

Requirements for Project/Mechanical Engineer:

• Prior experience in project design and project management.
  
• Large, metal capital manufacturing experience from a suppliers side.
• 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Ability to travel an average of three (3) days per month.
• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD a plus).
